We are often asked to review kids’ theatre shows and we write them up on the blog. Recent productions include Arabian Nights at the Southbank Centre, The Cat in the Hat at the Pleasance Theatre and, one of our favourite shows and venues so far, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King at the Unicorn Theatre.
Kids Exhibitions and Museums
We also review exhibitions, museums and any sort of experience for kids. Here we recently reviewed the thrilling immersive production Against Captain’s Orders: A Journey into the Uncharted at the National Maritime Museum Greenwich. This show was half exhibition, half theatre and devised by Punchdrunk Enrichment (the educational arm of Punchdrunk theatre company). You needed to be brave to survive it and we were not afraid to review the show honestly.
There are so many amazing events in the local area, and we choose to blog about anything that catches the eye. Just because we love South East London, and we feel everybody deserves to know about its highlights. Here are a selection of topics from the last year: Lewisham Model Market, Choumert Square Open Day and Cherry Blossom Season London.
